I’ve been in the beauty industry for over 20 years as an award-winning beauty journalist, broadcaster and diversity advocate. I have been fighting for more diversity in the beauty industry because seeing is believing.
In my career, I have been honoured to be a regular presenter on This Morning as well as being a social commentator for Good Morning Britain, CNN & BBC. It has been such a joy to have been a brand ambassador for Olay Retinol 24 Max, ‘Glow Up’ guest judge on season 3, 4 & 5 and Marie Claire columnist. For over two decades, I have written for titles including Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Financial Times, Guardian, Telegraph, Daily Mail, Beauty Columnist for Holly Willoughby’s wellness platform Wylde Moon, Observer, Allure, Red Magazine, Grazia (columnist), Boots Health and Beauty Magazine (columnist), Get The Gloss, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping and Glamour to name a few. I am also extremely proud to have been awarded the CEW 2020 Achiever Award to honour my diversity work for the past 20 years in the beauty industry.
Ateh Jewel Beauty is all about joy and healing, and in the same spirit, i’m so proud to have launched the Dr Ateh Jewel Education Foundation with donors including include P&G, Aveda, Space NK, Cantu, Little Light PR, which supports and gives rocket fuel to Black and Mixed heritage students in Higher Education, working with Oxford University, UAL, Bristol University and Solent University.
